Importance:

Science and Technology play a very important role in the nation-building process. And STEM club is where all the ignited minds of science and technology gather and explore so that they can contribute to a major development of the nation and the world. 

Objective:

To extend one's understanding of science and technology so that we help in shaping better citizens for tomorrow. Gaining inspiration from many and in turn inspiring others, the STEM club is to awaken the minds of young scientists. 

 

Programmes:

ECLECTIC SciFusion - 2026

TGTWRDC (M), Kamareddy celebrated National Science Day on 28th Feb, 2026 with great enthusiasm, creating an atmosphere of curiosity and learning across the campus. The day came alive with project presentation, seminar, webinar, workshop, and a wide range of exhibits that reflected students’ creativity and scientific thinking.

With active participation from the Departments of Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Botany, Zoology, and Chemistry, the celebration became a vibrant platform for sharing ideas and inspiring innovation. The event truly captured the joy of exploring science together and was a memorable experience for everyone involved.

To make the celebration even more special, students were warmly appreciated for their efforts and creativity. Prizes and appreciation certificates were presented to acknowledge their hard work and innovative ideas, leaving them motivated and proud of their achievements.

             

   

Science Fair, 2025

A Science Fair was organized by all the departments of sciences, showcasing the creativity and innovation of students. The event aimed to promote scientific thinking and provide a platform for students to present their projects and experiments. Various departments, including Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, and Computer Science, displayed models, demonstrations, and research-based exhibits. The fair attracted great enthusiasm from both participants and visitors, fostering curiosity and a spirit of inquiry. Overall, it was an inspiring event that highlighted the importance of science in everyday life and encouraged students to explore new ideas.

  

 

 

SCIENCE FAIR, 2024

The annual Science Fair was successfully organized this academic year by all the departments of sciences. The event served as an excellent platform for students to showcase their innovative projects and practical knowledge. Departments such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science presented a wide range of exhibits, experiments, and models demonstrating scientific concepts in action. The fair received an enthusiastic response from students and visitors alike, creating an atmosphere of curiosity and discovery. It was a memorable event that encouraged young minds to think creatively and deepened their appreciation for science and technology.

SOLAR YATRA

In association with NGO ‘Hamari Mitthi’, Department of Physics has organized an expert talk on “Energy and Climate change” by Prof. Chetan Singh Solanki, IIT Bombay, the ‘Solar Man of India’, on 22-02-2022.

Porf. Solanki is the founder of Energy Swaraj Foundation. As a part of Energy Swaraj Yatra, Prof. Solanki visited TGTWRDC (M), Kamareddy to give an insight on prospects of Solar Energy and to demonstrate the Solar bus designed by him.

The expert talk was followed by a meeting honoured by the District Collector and SP of Kamareddy at the premises of Hamari Mitthi NGO.

After the meeting, the students were demonstrated the working and applications of solar panels of household appliances.

Students learnt about energy crisis and the need to switch to renewable energy sources like solar energy.

 

SCIENCE FAIR, 2020

From learning to sharing knowledge, all the science groups have contributed immensely. 

 A Science Fair 'IQUTE' was organized on 28th Feb 2020, as a part of National Science Day celebrations which is celebrated in commemoration of Sir C. V. Raman. Many exhibits have been presented by various science streams.
