Forest Awareness Rally, 23rd March, 2026
A Forest Awareness Rally was organized by the Forest Department from the District Forest Office to Government Degree College, Kamareddy on 23rd March, 2026. The NSS unit of TGTWRDC (M), Kamareddy participated in the program. Our students actively took part in the rally and helped spread awareness about the importance of forest conservation and environmental protection among the public.
A plantation program was also conducted in the presence of the Hon’ble Collector, DSP, and DFO. The entire program was carried out successfully, with the enthusiastic involvement of our students contributing greatly to its success.

Cyber Crime Awareness Programme - 12/02/2026
A Cyber Crime Awareness Programme was conducted by the Police Department in coordination with NSS to help students understand how to stay safe online. The programme addressed common online crimes like hacking, phishing, fraud, identity theft, and cyberbullying.
It warned the students not to share passwords, to be careful with unknown links, and protect personal information on social media.

Forest Fire Awareness Program - 31/01/2026
Forest Fire Awareness Program was conducted at TGTWRDC (M), Kamareddy successfully.
Forest Divisional Officer, Sri Ramakrishna, explained about forest fire disasters, how fires are detected, and the precautions taken to prevent them.
He also explained about identifying animals through moulds and dung.
Students participated actively and were interactive during the session.
This program proved to be informative and beneficial to the students.

International Children’s Rights Day - 20/11/2025
TGTWRDC (M), Kamareddy observed The International Children’s Rights Day on 20 November, 2025, with students and faculty pledging to uphold and protect the rights and wellbeing of all children organized by the NSS students of the college.

National Unity Day, 31 Oct, 2025

TGTWRDC (M), Kamareddy celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth anniversary, marking the unity of our nation on October 31st, 2025. Students and faculty pledged to uphold India's unity, followed by a screening of the movie 'Sardar'. NSS Students participated in taking the pledge.
Fire Awareness Program, 16th April, 2025
NSS Students and faculty of TGTWRDC (M), Kamareddy participated in a Fire Awareness Program in the form of a candle rally from the Municipal Office, Kamareddy to Housing Board Colony, Kamareddy on the evening of 16th April, 2025. Municipal Chairperson of Kamareddy Nittu Jahnavi participated in the rally.




Blood Donation Camp, 10/04/2025
NSS of TGTWRDC (M), Kamareddy, in coordination with Government General Hospital organised a Blood Donation Camp in the college.
21 units of blood was donated by 16 students and 5 faculty.





World Water Day, 22/03/2025
Department of Zoology and NSS in coordination with Departments of Chemistry and Botany observed World Water Day, 2025 by organizing a rally to the nearby village, Sarampalle, Kamareddy and Govt. School.
This rally spread awareness to the village residents and the school students on importance of conserving water.
Students of NSS and the departments of Zoology, Botany and, Chemistry actively participated in the event.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP:
NSS unit of Kamareddy has conducted " Blood Donation Camp " on 17th May, at the Institution level to meet the requirement of blood for the ' blood bank ' so that they can help women who are in need of it.
Many of our college students actively participated in this Camp and donated blood. Along with the students teaching staff and non teaching staff also participated and donated blood.
Collector of Kamareddy Sri Jithesh V Patil garu visited this camp , appreciated our students and he also donated blood in this camp. Approximately 25 Units of blood has been collected and given to the blood bank.
