        Our College has been one among 22 Tribal Welfare Residential Degree colleges that have been established in the State of Telangana under the aegis of TTWREIS, Tribal Welfare, Gurukulam as part of the KG to PG Free Education policy of the Government of Telangana during the academic year 2018-19. These Degree colleges have been the brainchild of TTWREIS, TELANGANA GOVERNMENT and was launched to cater to the higher educational needs of the students of underprivileged and unprivileged sections of the society and to enhance their confidence levels acquiring the highest level of academic excellence coupled with excellent communication skills and the other interpersonal skills to transform themselves into the best citizens of the Nation.                       

          Nestled in the quiet town of Khammam, surrounded by the vast expanse of Telangana’s hills and forests, stands a unique and powerful symbol of change — the Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College (Girls). It is more than just an institution; it is a sanctuary of dreams for hundreds of young tribal girls who have journeyed from the most remote corners of the state — from villages tucked deep within forests, where roads are few, electricity is uncertain, and opportunity is a rare visitor.

       These girls are the first generation learners in their families. They come from places where education, especially for girls, was once seen as a distant luxury. Many of them walked miles just to complete their schooling, driven not by resources, but by a quiet, powerful hunger to learn, to grow, and to rise.

       At this college, they find more than education — they find belonging, courage, and voice. Here, for the first time, they read books that open up the world, speak in classrooms that listen to them, and dream of careers once thought unimaginable — as doctors, civil servants, teachers, scientists, and entrepreneurs.

       Here they rewrite not just their own futures, but the future of their families and their entire communities.This college is not just teaching students — it is nurturing pioneers, raising leaders, and redefining what’s possible for generations of tribal girls who once dared only to survive, but now are learning how to thrive.
